An explosive report for congress of US resulted in that the Iraqi government of the Prime Minister Nuri aluminium-Maliki could not reach most of the given military and political goals. At least 13 of 18 points, which had fixed the American delegates, is not fulfilled, is not called it in so far a not published document of the US audit office (GAO). In the rope pulling around the budget for the Iraq employment prominent politicians of the democrats called the congress in the meantime to issue president George W. Bush no “in blank cheques” more.

The chairman of the house of representatives, the Demokratin Nancy Pelosi, accused Bush to pursue in the Iraq a “failed policy” which costs many human lives and much money. “The American people requires a new direction in the Iraq war and no quarterly calculation”, stressed it. It is at the time to terminate and begin with it the war to return US armed forces “soon and surely home”.
